Holding the Baby
FOX: Sunday at 8:30pm (Half Hour Sitcom)

Premise

Gordon Stiles is left “holding the baby” when his wife leaves him for another man.  Unable to raise his son and pursue his career with only the help of his brother, Gordon hires Kelly O’Malley, a graduate student that would rather work in the office than as a nanny

Mix the single guys raising a kid from Full House (again!) with The Nanny

Familiar Faces

Our Take

This show has a fair time slot.  While 60 Minutes owns the older audience, Holding the Baby has a chance against younger adults depending on what Disney movies air on a particular week

Expect to Hear

“She’s leaving you for another man and moving to Tibet.  Is it okay, if I take a 12:30 lunch?”

- Ms. Boggs (a secretary describing a message for her boss from his wife)

That '70s Show
FOX: Sunday at 9:30pm (Half Hour Sitcom)

Premise

Eric Forman is a typical teenager trying to deal with his friends and his family - in the 1970s

The Wonder Years ten years later

Familiar Faces

None

Our Take

That ‘70s Show has an excellent time slot and may have the right “edge” it needs to keep the viewers from The Simpsons

Expect to Hear

Donna (responding to the fact that Eric is uncomfortable discussing innuendo that their relationship is not platonic): “Relax, we’ve lived next door to each other forever.  You could have had me when I was four”

Eric: “Really, and there I was all day long on the Hippity Hop”
