| While
serving in Vietnam, soldier Adam Beaudreaux's
life was saved by a young orphan named Grady
Jameson. Now, serving as a detective for a major
metropolitan police force, Adam finds himself
receiving some unofficial help from Grady. Officially,
Grady, a martial arts expert, splits his time
working as an instructor at Chan's Dojo and
as a bartender in Malloy's Bar. The bar, which
is half owned by Adam, is managed by Malloy
(no first name), the daughter of his late partner.
Adam's circle of friends includes Miguel Mendez,
a former gang leader, and Ted Willis, a moderator
of a Vietnam vet therapy group. Charlie Pine
is Beaudreaux's immediate supervisor and Rothman,
Kelsey and Schuham are some of the detectives
that have worked in his unit. |
