Premise
Senator
Elliot Baines has dedicated his life to public
service. As a result, it is no surprise that
he has grown distant from his three daughters
- an attorney next in line for politics, a mother
with a troubled marriage, and a rebellious younger
daughter. After losing the latest election,
Baines will find himself moving home to Seattle
and back into the lives of his family.

Take
It’s
hard to tell what dramatic direction this program
will take based only on the pilot, considering
Baines’s life has completely changed by the
end of the program. While CBS has had success
with dramas on Saturday night, it will all depend
on the show’s ability to craft a compelling,
long-term story line.
