is the phone number (774-4588) of Palm Springs
Investigations, a security company run by former
federal marshall Matthew Durning. Unknown to anyone
except Durning, married PSI employees Cody and
Dani Powell are in fact con-artist Wanda Talbert
and New York police officer Joey Paciorek, members
of the witness protection program. Ray Bailey,
Wanda's con-artist uncle occasionally provided
the PSI owner with even more grief. On the other
hand, Durning received support from Palm Springs
Sheriff Hollings. The PSI staff included lab technician
Fuji, communications center operative Jojo and
Dori, Durning's receptionist/secretary. Real-life
Palm Springs mayor Sonny Bono showed up from time
to time as the city's befuddled administrator.
