Judgment Day

Judgment Day
2 Hours - Airdate: Sept. 24, 1985
Mobster Joe Scarlett believes he has the perfect method of staying out of prison: He kidnaps Lori Mordente, the daughter of the judge presiding on his case. However, Searlett has not accounted for the fact that Mordente plans on getting help from the A-Team. In order to ascertain that Mordente is not connected with the military, Hannibal first arranges to meet the acrophobic judge on the window-washing platform of a tall building. The judge passes Hannibal's test, but the team leader is forced to flee (via a parachute) when Decker shows up. Later, the team grabs Augie, one of Scarlett's men, and Hannibal takes his place. As the team had hoped, Augie's limo driver brings Hannibal to where the girl is being held. However, the real Augie arrives at the hideout (having escaped from the team by jumping out of B.A.'s speeding van) and Scarlett's men manage to escape in a helicopter with Lori. Scarlett's brother Gino then takes the judge's daughter back to Italy in order to guarantee that Joe is not convicted. The A-Team follows Gino to Italy and it is not long before they are storming the Italian mobster's villa. Loci is freed, but since all of the team's money is now gone, Face needs to scam them return passage on an ocean liner (cruise ship). Face's con involves his posing as a doctor, Hannibal posing as a pool boy, and Murdock and Lori posing as caretakers of a wealthy invalid (B.A. in a wheelchair). Face's plan works, but the A-Team's escape does not go unnoticed. Gino and his men soon arrive on the ship and take the passengers hostage. As always, the A-Team fights back and the passengers are freed; although Gino tries to escape on a small boat. With the help of a borrowed police helicopter, Hannibal follows and captures the mobster.

Where is the Monster When You Need Him?
Airdate: Oct 1, 1985
In order to further advance his "acting" career, Hannibal has his manager friend Jerry produce a new monster movie (Gatorella). Unfortunately, filming does not go as planned as the film crew is told to leave their Latin American filming site. Furthermore, Charles Lake, the movie's non-monster star, storms off the set. Hannibal decides to film the movie anyway (with Face starring under the name Lake Charles). However, armed men arrive and further threaten the film crew to force them to depart the country. By modifying movie props, the team defeats their armed foes. They then decide to investigate why they are being threatened. The team arrives at a local estate and shoots their way in. A previously imprisoned Charles is freed and Ramon De Jarro, the Argentine resident of the estate, is captured and taken to the police chief. Since De Jarro has taken the town's wives and children hostage, Ramon helps the torturer to capture the team. The team soon escapes from captivity in a ruse whereby Hannibal pretends to shoot Murdock with a prop gun. Next, De Jarro is captured and the townspeople are rescued. Later, Decker tries to capture the team at the screening of Gatorella. Fortunately, a disguised Hannibal is able to lock Decker up and the screening proceeds without interruption.

Lease with an Option to Die
Airdate: Oct. 22, 1985
When B.A. receives word that thugs have broken his mother's arm, he wants to get to Chicago as soon as possible. In fact, B.A. is so concerned that he is willing to fly - even on a private jet piloted by Murdock. Just to play it safe, the team sedates B.A. before flying to the aid of Mrs. Baracus. Once in Chicago, the team learns that small time criminals have been trying to force the tenants to move out of the apartment building. Hannibal poses as Mrs. Murdock and takes over Mrs. Baracus' lease (while B.A.'s mother moves in with a neighbor named Karen). As predicted, Hannibal and Murdock are harassed. The team follows their opponents back to Harrington Management and discovers that Dave Blaut is behind the apartment harassments. Hannibal then delivers an A-Team warning (including the requisite gunfire) to Blaut. Afterwards, the team investigates further and finds out that Blaut is working for a man named Philip Chadway, who needs the apartment building destroyed in order to proceed with a major development project. Based on time constraints, Blaut turns up the heat (literally) when his men unsuccessfully try to torch the building. The team then speeds up their own actions when they locate Nicholas Perry, the owner of the apartment building, in a retirement home. Hannibal thereby realizes that Chadway has been using the retirement home residents' names without their knowledge to secretly buy up the property that he needs for the project. Hannibal takes advantage of his newly acquired knowledge and uses Perry's power of attorney to threaten Chadway. Chadway is then implicated in his crimes when the team films his conversation with Hannibal. The team soon resolves the entire situation when they stop a bomb, show their film to a group of guests at one of Chadway's parties, and capture a fleeing Chadway and Blaut. Later, Perry (now the legal owner of the apartment building) moves in and begins to make improvements that benefit Mrs. Baracus and the other tenants.

However, Decker accidentally grabs a homeless person named Jim Beam and not Hannibal. At the same time, Hannibal, disguised as a derelict, is captured by a group of men and taken to a hospital. Once there, the doctor discovers that Hannibal is not who he appears to be and the A -Team leader is taken away to be killed. Hannibal then escapes and rejoins the team (who had freed Jim Beam from Decker when they were unsure of which derelict was grabbed by the military). Next, the team decides to find out why Hannibal and a number of homeless people have been kidnapped. Accordingly, the team opens the Road to Hope Mission with Murdock acting as the mission's spiritual leader. The con artist then visits Kyle and convinces him to contribute $50,000 in hopes of buying his way on to the international team. Complicating matters, a man named Juarez soon joins the bikers. Hoping to resolve who is after the singer, the team arranges a news story that reports that Stevie has been kidnapped. Responding to the report, Skrylow calls Woody Stone, Stevie's manager. Stone, who is actually after Stevie's money, arrives in the neighborhood with revolutionaries, and captures the team. Hannibal leads Stone to Juarez's house claiming that the bikers have the master tape of Stevie's latest recording. As anticipated, Juarez s involvement allows the team to escape.
