As
the second season opens, the A-Team is called
in after Toby Griffin's father is killed while
delivering supplies to his mine in Zulabwe, Africa.
After pulling a con whereby B.A. needs to be transported
by plane for surgery, the team arrives in Zulabwe.
Realizing that Jonathan Fletcher, the man behind
the death of Toby's father, will claim the mine
unless it is worked, the team begins to obtain
supplies. Then, after Murdock, who is disguised
as a military official, and Face obtain some dynamite,
the team starts their journey to the mine. Scheckter,
one of Fletcher's henchmen, soon attacks the team
but is repelled. Finally, the team and Toby arrive
safely at the mine. Unfortunately, Fletcher and
Scheckter are waiting and the team find themselves
trapped inside. That night, the team modifies
equipment found in the mine. The next day, their
offensive begins and, as always, they win. Fletcher
tries to escape in his helicopter. However, Murdock
jumps on board, takes control of the aircraft,
and stops Fletcher's escape.

While
at a fancy restaurant, the A-Team members recognize
Lin Duk Coo, the Vietnamese P.O.W. camp cook who
used to sneak food to them. However, before the
team can be reunited with their old friend, Lin
is kidnapped, The team then follows Lin to the
Angel Bakery Company, attacks the kidnappers,
and frees their friend. Later, back at Face's
apartment, Lin explains the reason behind his
kidnapping: General Chow, the vicious former leader
of the P.O.W. camp, sent him to the United States
to deliver a letter for Tom Anderson. Anderson
turned out to be Tom Angel (a navy lieutenant
who had turned against his fellow P.O.W.s in order
to improve his own lot). Lin then realized that
Chow and Angel are involved in a drug operation.
Hannibal, disguised as a caddy, soon proceeds
to Anderson's golf club, kidnaps Anderson, and
learns the full details of the operation. Realizing
that Chow will probably be paying them a visit,
the team then sets about modifying a captured
bakery truck. As predicted, Chow attacks. The
team (with some assistance from Murdock in Chow's
stolen helicopter) stops the criminals and disbands
the drug operation. Later, Amy's paper arranges
for Lin to stay in the United States.

After
fifteen years, Face receives his fraternity pin
back from Leslie, a woman who had abruptly left
him back in college when their relationship became
serious. Face, believing that this is a sign of
trouble, hires the A-Team and proceeds with his
comrades to Ecuador and the orphanage where the
pin originated. Face then approaches Leslie, who
is now a nun, but she claims there is no problem.
Realizing this isn't true, the team has Murdock
and Face sneak into the orphanage disguised as
nuns, Once inside, Face learns that the orphanage
is being held hostage by an injured bandit named
Salvador who plans on hiding out until he recovers.
Murdock sneaks back outside and informs the team
of the situation. Then, disguised as whisky deliverymen,
the team enters the orphanage, swiftly defeats
the bandits, and sends Salvador and his men into
the jungle. The team then learns that the bandit's
friends will soon be arriving and an A-Team welcome
is prepared. The bandits attack the orphanage
but the team proves victorious.

After
B.A. finds Maria, a young illegal alien, upset
over her sick mother being held in an unknown
compound near the Mexican border, the A-Team decides
to help out. The team's first step is to speak
to warehouse owner Presley, a man who has been
importing illegal aliens and then paying them
"slave" wages. Presley reluctantly informs the
team that people hoping to illegally enter the
U. S. contact a man named Prince at the El Lobo
Bar in Mexico. Hannibal, in disguise, meets with
Prince and arranges for his own illegal entrance
into the United States. The team loses track of
Hannibal, who is in turn left at the mercy of
Lt. Taggart, a crooked border patrol officer.
The team then "convinces" Prince to tell them
where the truck went. After learning the location,
they turn a car into a tank and Murdock "borrows"
a helicopter. The compound is attacked and Hannibal,
Maria's mother, and the other illegal aliens are
rescued. Later, after Hannibal arranges for a
film producer to sponsor Maria and her mother's
legal entrance into the United States, the team
hears word that Taggart has been arrested.

After
Daniel Running Bear seems to be unable to stop
a man named Bus Carter from illegally rustling
wild horses, he decides to hire the A-Team. Meanwhile,
the military, upset over the embarrassment caused
by Lynch's inadequate attempts to capture the
A-Team, assigns Colonel Roderick Decker and Captain
Crane to replace Lynch. The military's plan seems
to be working, as Decker manages to surround the
team and Daniel inside an old warehouse. The team
escapes by sending B.A.'s van speeding into the
ocean. Later, in Arizona, the team has their first
brush with Carter when they stop Stryker, one
of Carter's men, from harassing Amy and Daniel.
The team (including Murdock, who is behaving like
the Range Rider, a fictional TV character) then
hijacks one of Carter's trains and frees a group
of the illegally captured horses. Hannibal's next
step is to sneak into Carter's ranch and obtain
information. Once inside, the A-Team leader learns
that Carter is selling the horses to a pet food
company. Hannibal is caught, but manages to escape
by taking Lane Carter, Bus' niece, hostage. It
is at this time that an innocent Lane is informed
of the kind of man that her uncle really is. Hannibal
continues with his plan and the team is soon attacking
another one of Carter's trains. This time Carter
is ready and Hannibal, B.A., and Face are captured.
Then, with the help of Lane and Murdock, Hannibal
escapes and "borrows" Carter's helicopter. Hannibal
and Murdock proceed to rescue B.A. and Face, who
have been left to die on a runaway train. When
Decker arrives at the train, the team escapes
in the helicopter. Decker, although unable to
get Hannibal or his men, does make an arrest when
he takes Carter into custody.

The
A-Team is once again called on to help when the
operators of the LoneStar Cab Company find themselves
almost driven out of business by a man named Crane,
owner of the Love Cab Company. With Captain Cab
(Murdock in costume) leading the way, the team
begins to help LoneStar. They acquire and repaint
three of Crane's cabs. Hannibal, in the guise
of Clance Wilkinson, and his nephew (Face) then
pay a visit on Mr. Crane where they run into trouble.
However, Murdock and B.A. arrive and the team
manages to escape. Their next step is to pay another
visit to Love; this time destroying a number of
Crane's remaining cabs. In response, Crane and
his men then attack LoneStar and the team. As
always, the team wins the battle; this time with
the help of a cab that has been converted into
a tank.

With
Colonel Decker hot on their trail, the A-Team
decides to lay low in a small town. Later, while
looking for supplies, the team witnesses a storeowner
refusing to sell food to a woman named Laura.
After convincing the owner to provide Laura with
food, the team is filled in on the situation in
town: A grower named Ted Jarrett has been forcing
Laura and other field workers to pick his crops
for below minimum wage. When the workers finally
protested and went on strike, Jarrett responded
by ordering the storeowners not to sell them food.
The team, deciding to help the workers, stops
by one of Jarrett's parties and force the grower
to donate food for the workers. Later, after solving
the immediate hunger problem, the team begins
to take steps to prevent the situation from reoccurring.
Workers throughout the area are contacted and
a union organization meeting is set up. Jarrett
threatens one of the worker's kids and learns
the location of the meeting. With the help of
an A-Team modified tractor, Jarrett's attacking
men are easily defeated and the union is ratified.
Later, upon leaving the area, the team once again
finds themselves being pursued by Decker.

the fishing family. Their first step is to pay
Mr. Garber a visit whereby Hannibal informs Garber
that he needs to repay the people of Lobster Bay
for the damage his illegal fishing caused. Later,
after Face acquires some scuba gear (by masquerading
as the Great Templeton, a magician performing
an underwater trick), the team obtains additional
photographs of Garber's illegal activities. Unfortunately,
Decker is one step ahead of the team and Hannibal,
B.A., and Face are captured. However, Murdock
and Amy follow the military transport and rescue

As
the episode opens, three disabled veterans and
their friend Amanda are working towards the opening
of the Stagecoach Hotel. Unfortunately, Frank
Gaines, a greedy land developer, attacks and injures
the trio when they refuse to give up the hotel
and leave town. Later, while being treated at
a V.A. hospital, Murdock learns of the veterans'
situation. It is not too long before the proprietors
of the Stagecoach Hotel have hired the ATeam.
Gaines and his men once again attack the hotel.
Of course, the team is ready and the attackers
are easily repelled. Gaines then takes advantage
of the current water drought and conspires to
put the vets out of business by diverting their
water shipment. In response, Murdock and Face
go to the nearby water pumping station (disguised
as inspectors) and shut off Gaines' water. Hannibal
then warns Gaines to leave the vets alone. The
team's next maneuver is to solve the hotel's water
shortage. They accomplish this by visiting the
pumping station at night and making a few adjustments
to the local water system. Later, when Gaines
and his men decide to pay the hotel a somewhat
hostile visit, the team wins the battle by utilizing
the newly installed water supply as a weapon.

When
a man named Mickey and his niece Randy find themselves
being pushed out of the contracting business through
the sabotage of a cooked contractor named Denham,
they hire the A-Team. After Face frees Murdock
from the V.A. hospital, the team heads to Mickey's
construction site and is soon fighting off Denham's
men. Later, while trying to discover the motive
behind Denham's sabotage, the team observes him
meeting with mobster "Crazy Tommy T." Tilllis.
The next step of Hannibal's plan is to inflict
a little damage on Denham's operation. Accordingly,
the team steals the truck that Denham has been
using to (illegally) pay his workers. Disguised
as window cleaners, the team overhears Denham
talking to Tillis and learns that if Mickey continues
with his construction project, the body of Tillis'
old business partner will be discovered. As in
many episodes, the team creates a weapon out of
items lying around. When Tillis and Denham arrive
to attack the team, the mobster and crooked contractor
are easily defeated. (Note: As the A-Team
is being hired at Universal Studios, Dirk Benedict
recalls his earlier experiences as Starbuck [on
Battlestar Galactica] when Face pauses
a moment when an actor in a cylon suit walks by.)

In
the last episode in which Melinda Culea appears
as Amy, a reporter named Jimmy Baker is being
stopped from printing a newspaper expose by a
crooked sheriff named Dawson. Tummy contacts his
friend Amy Allen and arranges to hire the A-Team.
Realizing that the best way to stop Dawson is
to defeat him in the upcoming sheriff's election,
the team decides to have Face run . Accordingly,
Amy locates the perfect disguise for the team's
con artist: Joe Morgan, a war hero who has not
been in town for 20 years. Morgan/Face and his
wife (Amy) arrive in town and the political campaign
begins with the team's disruption of one of Dawson's
illegal casinos. Dawson then decides that he does
not want to risk an election and the team grabs
the crooked sheriff when he comes for Face. The
team then "escorts" Dawson to one of the sheriff's
illegal liquor operations. However, the sheriff's
men are prepared for the attack and the team is
captured and locked in a room. Meanwhile, Decker,
having seen Face's picture in a newspaper, arrives
in town, preventing Dawson's men from capturing
Amy. As Decker proceeds to the sheriff's location,
the team constructs weapons from items they find
in the room and use them to escape from Decker
and capture the sheriff's men. (This particular
A-Team maneuver raises an interesting question:
Why do the criminals always imprison the A-Team
in locations where they can get their hands on
tools and supplies?) Later, Face is distraught
when he learns that he/Morgan lost by five votes.
